So almost 2 weeks ago (in the post below) I declared I wasn't giving up on the Yankees yet..

Yankees fans don't resign themselves to failure in August!
I mean, yeah they're several games out of contention for the AL East and or Wild Card, but its barely the middle of August and there are a lot of games left. It's too early to concede!

At the end of it I wrote:

I'm not ready to concede this season. I won't believe the Yankees are out of it until they are officially out of it. 6 games is a lot, but there's still time.
