Alright Josh (Childress) this has gone on long enough. Come on back for this playoff push we're about to make. I know you probably hoped the team would play horribly and have to come crawling back to you, but obviously that's not the case. It's okay, swallow your pride, say you were wrong and we'll all pretend you were just out with an injury. You know, like Craig Claxton.
If it will make you feel better you can just say you're returning because of all of the recent rioting in Greece. Yeah, just tell everyone you feared for your own safety and you thought it would be in your best interests to just come back. (wink)
Where will your minutes come from? Who knows? But let's be honest, the bench has been up and down since early in the season anyway. I'm sure Woody can go from a 7 man rotation to an 8 man rotation seamlessly.
There, we've addressed all of the things that may give you pause about returning. I'll see you next year.

CoCo, I happily donate the minutes Mo Evans and Flip Murray might get at the 2 and all of the backup 3 minutes to Chill, but I really believe he does not want to come off of the bench, which he would most certainly do here.
He was frustrated by Woody's whims regarding bench minutes and wants the consistency that being a starter usually provides.
Still, I'd buy him all the waffles and turkey bacon he wants if he'd help us push while Bibby is still going good.
I feel ya HHB, but you know Woody is a stickler for consistency. Hahahaha! He won't sacrifice Mo's minutes considering the team is still able to win in spite of him. That's just how things work with Woody. I really don't think he recognizes when a player is killing the team. Well, unless it's Josh. Sometimes his leash is a little bit shorter than the rest of the players, but whatever.
that picture at the top reminded me that Acie is still on our team.
Remember when he used to play? ahhhh those were the days.
Drew I'm asking someone very close to the situation about Acie. You know if he's just in the doghouse or if he sucks and that's why he can't get any run. I'll let you know what I find out.
What really is the deal with Claxton? Who in hell is out for two months with a pulled hamstring?
Not that I really want him to play compared with, say, Acie, but it kind of bugs me that he's still "out" there.
I don't know what's wrong with Craig's knees/hamstrings/legs in general, but I'd really like to know what kind of injury prevents you from playing professionally, but you can play all throughout the summer.
Insurance and Claxton: a similar situation in Portland?

...(Raef) LaFrentz, who is out for most of the season with a torn labrum in his right shoulder, is in the final year of a contract that will pay him $12.7 million. But if he misses the first 41 games of the season, each successive game missed will bring an 80 percent return of its pro-rated salary in insurance to the team that holds his contract. The combination of the expiring contract and insurance is expected to draw significant trade interest.
“That’s the card I want to play,” (GM Kevin) Pritchard said."
Do you think it's possible Speedy shows up sometime close to the 42nd game?
Hmmm. I don't know if Speedy will show up anywhere besides the bench with a suit on.
Speedy Claxton = Terrell Brandon
good gosh everything is so... sporty even the links.
not my scene, but pretty cool that your blog is up to date, and I'll definitely show this to my guy friends that are really into basketball.
