Random NFL Stuff

I'm soooooooooooo glad the New England Dallas game is over! ESPN in true ESPN fashion over hyped the hell out of this game! They must have dedicated 30 minutes per Sportscenter episode talking about both of these teams. I just don't understand why. Well I guess I do understand a little. Tom Brady is America's favorite "baby daddy" and Tony Romo is a little media darling, but still. This game won't mean shit at the end of the season. No one won home field advantage if they meet in the playoffs, (which they won't unless it's the Super Bowl) so in the grand scheme of things it was just another regular season game. The fact that they were both undefeated is cute, but it's only the 6th game of the season. Had they both been 10-0 or something I would have been able to understand the hype a little more. Everyone knew Dallas was not going to win that game, I don't even know why we had to spend 2 weeks pretending it was going to be a toss up.
The Saints finally won a game. Bless their Hearts.
St. Louis is still win less and now quarterbackless since their genius head coach insisted on running real plays even though they were down by 19 points. Mark Bulger was already hurt, now Gus Frerote (not sure about the spelling, not gonna look it up) is hurt. Idiots.
Miami still sucks. Trent Green is mulling retirement. Seriously, your team sucks and you were there sucking with them for 4 games, so it's not like your presence is going to change anything. Stay home and play with your kids.
Cincy still sucks. KC won
Braylon Edwards is a cutie and he caught 3 touchdowns for the Browns.
The J E T S still suck. Philly won.
Green Bay beat Washington, Brett threw a couple of interceptions. He's coming back to his old self. He set the NFL record for interceptions. Congratulations.
San Diego beat Oakland. L T scored all 4 of their touchdowns. He's coming around slowly but surely.
Tennessee lost and Vince Young got hurt early. Is it the Madden jinx??? We shall see.
Jax beat Houston.
Chicago lost to Minnesota. Adrian Peterson ran all over the Bears defense! Devin Hester returned a punt for a touchdown and he caught one as a receiver. They clearly need to find ways to incorporate him into their offense more often. At some point teams need to look into kicking to someone other than him. That would take away at least 7 points from Chicago.
The Rockies are one win away from going to the World Series. They have to be the favorite to win it all at this point.
I'm just sayin........
