Red Sux, Random NFL Stuff

Wow, I haven't posted anything in a week. I don't even have a good reason for it unless utter laziness is good enough for you.

The Red Sox came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Cleveland Indians. The aces for the Indians sucked big time! Boston's line-up had a field day with them. There's no scenario where you can count out those pesky Red Sox. They just won't quit. I'd admire it if it were any other team, but since it's the Red Sox it aggravates me. I hope the Rockies sweep them.

The Eagles lost to the Bears. They were smart enough not to kick the ball to Devin Hester, but in the end it didn't matter since their offense was so putrid.

The Cowboys beat the Vikings. They keep playing bad teams who have them on the ropes, but insist on losing. Everyone else likes to think the Cowboys just find ways to win, but I say teams find ways to lose against them. I love Tavarus Jackson and I'm proud of him for making it to the league, but the Vikings might need to start grooming someone else to hand their franchise over to. He doesn't have the swagger of a winner and that's just as important as ability. A lot of times he doesn't look like he has much of that either.

The Falcons lost to the Saints. Byron Leftwich got the start and then got hurt in the beginning of the second half. The Falcons can't win for losing. Literally. They need to play the younguns and see what they're capable of because this season is so over for them.

The Pats beat the Dolphins (yawn)

The Giants beat the Niners.

The Broncos beat the Steelers. Great game, and Mike Tomlin looks good in a skull cap.

The Bengals beat the Jets. Chad Pennington might get benched behind that loss. In fairness to him, he isn't the only problem with the Jets. He will take the biggest fall for it though.

The Bills beat the Ravens (yawn)

The Seahawks beat the Rams (yawn)

The Redskins beat the Cardinals (yawn)

The Titans beat the Texans without Vince Young. Madden Jinx is the official injury, but they have it listed as a sprained quad.
